Jack Skaggs

Jack Skaggs

Bobbi Skaggs, Jack's wife has shared with us that Jack had unexpectedly passed away from Covid last year. She graciously wanted us to share his obituary and photos from his celebration of life.  We share in her grief and appreciate her letting us know.  During high school most people were known by the cars they drove and Jack had a green 1968 Road Runner while living in Plainfield.  He challenged many to a race in that car.  Memories and condolences can be shared at Jack's page on our In Memory link.

Below is a photo taken at Jack's memorial/celebration of Bobbi with 3 of their children and 7 of the grandkids.

Oh, I am so very sorry for your loss, Bobbi. I didn't know Jack very well back in PHS but he must have been a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather, etc. Prayers for you as you continue to deal with his passing. RIP Jack.

Bobbi I'm so sorry for your loss and that of your family. My first spoken word was car so I can really relate to Jack. Loved the photo of his Deuce and the family at the memorial. It's amazing how cars can bring a family and a community together. It's wonderful that you will have that vehicular piece of Jack around to pass down. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.
