Norman E. Mathis, 41, of Plainfield, died January 4.  He was a self-employed construction worker.

Funeral sercives were held Wednesday, January 8, At Maple Hill Chapel with the Reverend Bill Clayton officiating.  Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include parents Paul and Ruth Mathis; two brothers, Michael and Paul D. Mathis, both of Plainfield;  and a sister, Cathy Henderson of Stilesville.
